Trophies and prizes by ZAP, DYE, and IPS awarded to the overall top four SPRING LEAGUE teams in each division. Seed points for the Spring League events also count towards the TRIPLE CROWN TITLE.
Paintball Arena is proud to announce our new league program for 2003. The 3 player, center flag format is extremely popular and makes it easy to field and maintain a team. The action is fast, the games go fast, and the fields can be smaller. This allows us to accomodate more teams, and let you play more games. Each team is guaranteed a minimum of 6 games per event.
League events were moved to Saturday night so that less players will have the problem of school or work the next morning. The Arena leagues are meant to allow the player a chance to compete regularly in a tournament format while reducing the commitment in time and money that tournaments demand. This is great competition, and it's great practice for teams working on their skills for the larger tournaments this season...

JUNE 14, 2003:
The Triple Shot Spring League wrapped up with the final event being led by Sweeps in Division A and MinuteMen Stripes in Division B. Close on the tail of Sweeps, Evil Empire made an impressive showing once again, locking up their claim as the overall Spring League Champions. In Division B, MinuteMen Stripes cleaned up and walked away with a solid lead, putting themselves far ahead of the competition, with MinuteMen Freedom in second place. Stripes are the B Division Spring Champs and are already eyeballing the the Triple Crown B Division title. Dragons will have something to say about that, ranking next in the race for the Triple Crown. Mantis Kids finished 3rd place in the overall League A Division, with Sweeps making 4th place despite missing the first league event!
In Division B, FUBAR ended in 3rd overall with 4th in the League going to MinuteMen Freedom. My apologies to Fubar and Freedom for the error at the awards ceremony! -Al.
TRIPLE CROWN:
All teams playing in the Spring League, or any other Triple Shot event, earn seed points for the TRIPLE CROWN TITLE. A team's top 6 Triple Shot events will be counted for the championship title.
